As the Chief Executive Officer of Hope and Thriving Community Organization (HTCO), I, Hazratullah Wasim, bring over a decade of dynamic experience in project management, organizational leadership, administration, and humanitarian programming. My professional journey reflects a strong commitment to empowering vulnerable communities and promoting inclusive development throughout Afghanistan.

Having worked with both national and international NGOs, I have led programs that deliver tangible, community-driven solutions in areas such as education, women’s empowerment, rehabilitation, health, and social protection. My hands-on experience ranges from field implementation to strategic leadership, enabling me to effectively bridge grassroots needs with high-level organizational goals.

Prior to my current role, I served in key positions including Administrative Officer, Instructor, and Data Entry Officer, where I developed a solid foundation in administration, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and information management. These roles have equipped me with the skills to lead HTCO with a focus on transparency, innovation, and sustainability.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from Takhar University, and I am currently pursuing an MBA at Bakhtar University. My expertise is further strengthened by over 20 international certifications from UN Women, UNICEF, and ALISON, covering areas such as gender equality, data management, humanitarian coordination, emergency response, and sustainable development.
